I encountered two issues while registering:

1. The system does not accept Outlook.com email addresses. It accepts Hotmail.com and Gmail addresses. Outlook.com has been Microsoft’s default email domain for years, this will prevent some users from registering.

2. The username validation appears inconsistent. My first choice was a username about 10 characters long, but it was rejected. After experimenting, I found that changing the length of the username, the capitalization, or adding a space or underscore in between sometimes caused it to be accepted. I almost gave up in the process. This has to be fixed.
